For a young puppy, nothing is more terrifying than being torn away from its mother and thrust into a confusing and daunting world.
From the start, they encounter so much unkindness and indifference from humans that their trust in people is completely shattered.
This particular puppy found herself in a similar predicament, keeping away from people as she sought shelter next to a perilous railway, uncertain of where else to go.
Fortunately, a compassionate bystander took notice and quickly reached out to Paw Squadron for help. It wasn’t long before they dispatched someone to assist her.
A Frightening Predicament
Without delay, the rescuer leapt into action, jumping into his car. Along with his colleague, they traveled for hours to reach a distant village in pursuit of the puppy.
Upon arrival, they embarked on their search, unsure of where exactly she might be. Despite the uncertainty, they scoured the area thoroughly.
Initially, luck wasn’t on their side, so they turned to the locals, hoping someone had seen the puppy.
Soon after, the rescuers spotted her. She was taking shelter near the train tracks. Recognizing the danger of her position, they hurried to her rescue.
As they approached, they moved cautiously to avoid startling her into fleeing. Still, she was apprehensive and continued to shy away.
Eventually, they managed to get close enough, seizing the moment when it came. One of the rescuers gently scooped her up, and they made their way back to the car.
Once there, they offered her some food, which she eagerly devoured, clearly very hungry. After ensuring she was well-nourished and hydrated, it was time to move on.
The vet clinic was the obvious first stop. The rescuers were keen to ensure her health was in check before taking the next steps.
A Promising Turn of Events
Interestingly, during the car ride, the sweet puppy didn’t seem fazed or bewildered. On the contrary, she appeared calm and seemed to enjoy the journey.
Soon, they reached the clinic, where the vet determined the puppy was about two months old.
Her weight was fairly normal, and she wasn’t too underweight. Her vital signs were stable, with no hidden health concerns.
Luckily, she was in sound health, not requiring any further treatment. With the vet’s approval, the rescuer brought her home.
A refreshing bath cleared away the fleas from her coat. It was clear she felt much better afterward. Her little tail wagging was a sure sign of her contentment.
As she understood that he intended to care for her, she grew even more at ease. The pair were now set to enjoy a lot of time together.
Nevertheless, the team is still searching for a permanent home for her, someone special to welcome her with open arms. When that will happen remains uncertain.
What’s apparent is that the puppy is being looked after well, and it’s only a matter of time before she finds her forever family.
