Discovering Coco’s Background
The California family didn’t have much information when they first welcomed Coco into their lives. What they knew was limited; her previous owner was battling cancer and couldn’t care for her.
However, there was something odd about Coco. She was perpetually sad and withdrawn, scared of even simple things like walking on grass.
As they started piecing together Coco’s past, a grim picture emerged. It turned out she had been subjected to terrible conditions, likely confined to a tiny cage her entire life, explaining her trauma.
