A routine day turned extraordinary for rescuers when a hiker contacted them about an unexpected discovery—six tiny puppies spotted on a mountain summit.
They were baffled by this news. How could anyone have abandoned these defenseless creatures there?
Alone, their survival was impossible. Thankfully, they were spotted just in time. Without delay, the rescuers set out for the mountain after the call came in.
A Challenging Operation
Upon arrival, the rescuers were taken aback by the puppies’ condition. They were huddled together, trying to stay warm.
The puppies were soaked, likely due to the previous day’s rain. The rescuers observed that these little ones were left in a basket.
That was the only thing there. The rescuer gently gathered them into the basket. Not one appeared frightened; instead, they seemed relieved to have company.
I can’t fathom why anyone would leave them to suffer in such a desolate location. They deserved better.
Who knows how much longer they could have lasted without help? The puppies were then transported back to the city, where one of the rescuers welcomed them into his home.
Having not eaten for a long while, the puppies were given a hearty meal. Initially a bit apprehensive indoors, they quickly adapted.
After eating, their rescuers noted their increased energy as the puppies adjusted to their new surroundings.
Wonderful Updates for the Puppies
An examination revealed there were four females and two males. Tragically, one was blind.
The rescuers concluded that her blindness was congenital, not due to trauma or illness.
In their care for some time, all received their vaccinations. Thankfully, there were no severe health problems, and a full recovery was on the horizon.
Gradually, these delightful pups grew even more playful. They thoroughly enjoyed mingling with their rescuers.
Old enough, the puppies were listed for adoption, and a search for loving homes commenced.
Even though finding a home for the blind puppy seemed daunting, extra efforts were made to
find the perfect match for her.
As expected, each has found a fantastic family and is now thriving in a safe haven. It’s heartwarming to know their story had such a joyful ending.
