Losing a beloved pet is incredibly tough, something Victoria Smith knows all too well. Her heart was shattered after her elderly black Lab, Bear, passed away.
It felt like a piece of her heart was gone, something irreplaceable. Sensing her pain, her boyfriend, Marcelo, sprang into action. When he found out a friend’s dog had just given birth to a litter of pups, he saw it as a chance to help heal her heart.
After discussing it with Victoria, they decided they were prepared to welcome a new furry family member.

“I wanted to capture him bringing the puppy home for keepsake memories, then he told me to keep recording because he had a surprise,” she shared in an interview.

“Apparently, her brother was the only pup without a new home. He’s the littlest of the bunch, and Marcelo just didn’t have the heart to split them up, so he brought both home! I was beyond thrilled—I’m a huge dog lover,” Smith said.
Now, the playful Border Colliess are inseparable.
They spend their days right next to each other, spreading joy with their contagious energy. With these two, there’s never a dull moment!
“They both have unique personalities, and we’ve completely fallen in love with them. They’re just incredible. Watching them play is a daily delight, and it’s non-stop!” Smith shared.
